About Bread By Rona
Hi, I’m Rona, the baker behind Bread By Rona.
I’m a mom of three, a full-time working professional, and someone who bakes sourdough in the early mornings before the house wakes up. What started as a weekend stress reliever slowly turned into a microbakery rooted in patience, community, and really good bread.
I didn’t set out with a business plan. I just wanted to slow things down. Sourdough gave me that. Mixing flour, water, and salt became a way to step out of the chaos and create something real with my hands.
Before long, friends and family were asking for more loaves. Then neighbors. Then markets. Bread By Rona grew naturally, one bake at a time.
Today, everything is still made in small batches using long fermentation and simple ingredients. Flavors rotate with the seasons, availability varies by market, and nothing is rushed. That’s intentional.
What I love most isn’t just the bread, it’s the connection. The conversations at the market. The familiar faces. The way bread brings people together at the table.
If you’re here to grab a loaf, learn more about sourdough, or just follow along, I’m really glad you found your way here.
Thanks for supporting small-batch baking and local food! It truly means more than you know.
